No two pieces will ever be alike:
We work with Handlooms & all our products are Handcrafted with love by our talented artisans & masters. Since our making process is entirely by hand, slight aberrations in textile, printing, painting, embroidery and sewing are bound to happen and cannot be considered as “damaged.” No two pieces will be alike in anything Handmade & that makes each piece unique.

Colour Variations:
While we photograph only in natural light and try our best to make sure that the colours shown on our website are accurate, actual colours may vary a little. The precise colour of the product may vary due to colour variability in computers, laptops, screen monitors, mobiles, tablets and or other devices screen peculiarities or resolution. We try to give as many colour choices as possible per design & give you actual product swatches as colour options on our website. Please be aware that we will not be responsible if the colour is not what you expected it to be at the time of purchase. Because all our products are custom made and cannot be returned for reasons of colour, please make sure that you understand that colour variations are possible from our photography of the actual products.

Size:
We share our standard size chart for all our products on our website. All our stitched products come with extra margin & stitches should you need to alter this. We also offer unstitched fabric with artwork appliqued for most of our designs as an option. We stitch as per your unique order that is a combination of Design, Fabric, Colour, Sleeves or Sleeveless so it is a custom made for you & cannot be returned for reasons of wrong size.

Care for Fabrics:
- Preferably always dry clean. Or, gentle hand wash in cold water.
- Do not machine wash.
- Do not soak in water.
- Always dry in shade.
- Never use detergents or chemicals on the painting/embroidery/screen printing.
- Always iron the painting/embroidery/screen printing inside out.

- Preferably always gentle clean with a dry wipe.

Sangam” as the name suggests is our Choli series that will have an eclectic confluence of Handloom weaves &/or Handmade art forms.
Limited edition mix & match cholis that do not compromise on purity or design.

Presenting the third in this series “Sangam 03 : Ajrakh & Shibori“ - a sangam or confluence of 2 distinct handmade art forms in the unique “raglan sleeves” pattern to create the Sangam.

A raglan sleeve is a sleeve that extends in one piece fully to the collar, named after Lord Raglan, the 1st Baron Raglan, who is said to have worn a coat with this style of sleeve after the loss of his arm in the Battle of Waterloo!

Material: Handmade Shibori Tie & Dye on Gajji Silk & Hand block printed Ajrakh on Matka Silk

Shibori Tie& dye is a Japanese art of dying fabric. It involves twisting, scrunching, folding and tying or binding the cloth, which is then dipped in dye. Where the cloth has been bound or tied, the dye resists the cloth, creating color and white patterns.

Ajrakh is a block-printed textile that is resist-dyed using natural dyes. including indigo and madder.
Altogether, there are 13 stages in block printing.

Colors:
The model here is wearing a natural dye Indigo & Madder Red Ajrakh with Red & White Shibori Tie & Dye.

Please note that colours and tones shown here are as close to the original as possible. Small variations may occur due to light, individual screen peculiarities or resolution.

Sizes: The choli comes in standard ready to wear sizes 34 to 48 with a 2 inch margin inside for alterations.
