No two pieces will be alike in anything Handmade & that makes each piece unique.
While we photograph only in natural light and try our best to make sure that the colours shown on our website are accurate, actual colours may vary a little. The precise colour of the product may vary due to colour variability in computers, laptops, screen monitors, mobiles, tablets and or other devices screen peculiarities or resolution. We try to give as many colour choices as possible per design & give you actual product swatches as colour options on our website. Please be aware that we will not be responsible if the colour is not what you expected it to be at the time of purchase. Because all our products are custom made and cannot be returned for reasons of colour, please make sure that you understand that colour variations are possible from our photography of the actual products.
We share our standard size chart for all our products on our website. All our stitched products come with extra margin & stitches should you need to alter this. We also offer unstitched fabric with artwork appliqued for most of our designs as an option. Tanchoi style of weaving travelled to India from China thanks to Parsi traders from Surat & their love for silks! Legend has it that in the mid 19th century a Parsi merchant Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy
commisioned 3 weavers from a Joshi family in Surat to travel to China to learn this particular technique of weaving this particular brocade silk. The 3 brothers upon return adopted the name of their Chinese teacher who taught them weaving “Chhoi” & “Tran” is Gujarati for 3 referring to the 3 brothers - thus was born Tanchoi a style of weaving brought to India by the 3 brothers in Surat from their teacher in China!
